Studio/D launches new logo, branding

Jan. 20, 2016 – St. Louis-based marketing agency Studio/D has unveiled new branding following its recent merger with Swell Advertising. The updated branding reflects “the modern thinking this agency uses” in the process of working with clients, said Rich Meyer, chief creative officer at Studio/D. Meyer was the principal at Swell prior to the merger.

The branding overhaul includes a new logo, a new website (www.StudioD.agency), and a modification of the company name. The agency was formerly known as Studio D Marketing Communications.

“We wanted to create a look that is distinctive and memorable, but then gets out of the way,” Meyer said. “Our logo is now clean and straightforward, modern and yet understated.”

The website further carries out the theme. “We have a splash of orange that can be used in a way that is understated, as with the logo, or used as a bold block to energize negative space,” Meyer said.

Studio/D is a full-service brand communications agency based in St. Louis, Missouri. The agency offers ad planning and creative development, public relations, and social media engagement.
